Mission: one heart many voices 2019 will be a place of gathering participants from many sectors and ministries.
The program is currently being designed to offer participants opportunities to use their heads, hearts, hands and voices – to learn through their intellectual, emotional, spiritual, practical and social natures. A primary driver of the design of the program is that there will be processes of critical reflection and analysis and what emerges is good praxis for taking up Pope Francis’ challenges on living the joy of the Gospel. We will consider how we are called to lead mission in Australia and globally mindful of Plenary Council 2020.
The program will include specialised masterclass and workshop streams which will enable participants to explore areas of theory and practice of mission and evangelisation. The content will be comprehensive and inclusive, drawing from various areas and sectors of the Church, including topics such as social services, education, faith formation, leadership for mission, indigenous, health, youth, migrants and refugees, ecology, Catholic social teaching and overseas aid and development.
The conference organisers are currently trying to secure many varied and distinguished speakers, expert and leading practitioners in their field. Take a look. There will be much opportunity to mix on a social level and continue conversations that are most important to you.
Above all, the conference organisers are hoping the program inspires, nurtures and enables on living the joy of the Gospel and leading mission.
A detailed program will be uploaded as presenters, workshop facilitators and practitioners are confirmed. We look forward to sharing this event with you!
